وأفادت تقارير إعلامية بريطانية، اليوم الاثنين، بأن صفقة الانتقال قاربت 82 مليون دولار، مضيفة أن اللاعب البالغ 20 سنة لن ينتقل إلى “أنفيلد” قبل نهاية الموسم رغم حاجة ليفربول الملحة لتعزيز خطه الخلفي.
وكان جاكيه قد ارتبط في وقت سابق بالانتقال إلى تشلسي، لكنه تراجع بحسب التقارير بسبب شدة المنافسة على مركز قلب الدفاع في تشكيلة الـ”بلوز”.
وعلى النقيض، يعاني ليفربول من نقص كبير في خيارات قلب الدفاع، فالقائد الهولندي فيرجيل فان دايك (34 عاما) والفرنسي إبراهيما كوناتيه، الذي ينتهي عقده بنهاية الموسم، هما الخياران الوحيدان المتاحان أمام المدرب الهولندي أرنه سلوت، في ظل إصابة جو غوميز والإيطالي جوفاني ليوني.
ولم يخض جاكيه، الدولي الفرنسي في منتخب أقل من 21 سنة، سوى 31 مباراة مع رين منذ تصعيده إلى الفريق الأول للنادي الفرنسي خلال الموسم الماضي.
