كشف استطلاع رأي أجرته الأمم المتحدة أن 47% من المستجوبين المغاربة يعتبرون القيود المالية سببًا رئيسيًا في إنجاب عدد أطفال أقل مما يطمحون إليه.
وجاءت نتائج هذا الاستطلاع في تقرير لصندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان حول « حالة سكان العالم »، الذي نوقشت مضامينه مساء أمس في مقر المندوبية السامية للتخطيط.
واعتمد الاستطلاع على مسح حديث أجراه الصندوق الأممي بالتعاون مع شركة « يوغوف »، وشمل 14 دولة، بينها المغرب، تمثل مجتمعة 37% من سكان العالم، لاستكشاف ما إذا كان الناس يُكوّنون الأسر التي يرغبون بها.
ويُعتبر الوضع الاقتصادي والاجتماعي السبب الرئيسي في تراجع معدلات الخصوبة في المغرب، بينما يُساهم الوضع الصحي بنسبة أقل في ذلك.
ويقول 4% فقط من المستجوبين المغاربة إن عوائق متعلقة بالرعاية الطبية تمنعهم من الإنجاب أو الحمل، فيما صرّح 10% بأن العقم أو صعوبة في الحمل هو سبب إنجابهم لعدد أقل من الأطفال، مقابل 19% تحدّثوا عن مشاكل في الصحة العامة أو الإصابة بأمراض مزمنة.
ويرى 20% من المستجوبين أن عدم قدرتهم على إنجاب أطفال أكثر يعود إلى قيود متعلقة بالإسكان (مثل ضيق مساحة المنزل، أو ارتفاع تكاليف الشراء أو الإيجار)، بينما قال 15% إن هناك عوائق اقتصادية تتعلق بالبطالة وانعدام الأمن الوظيفي.
وحذّر التقرير من أن عددًا متزايدًا من الناس يُحرمون من حرية تكوين أسر بسبب ارتفاع تكاليف المعيشة، واستمرار عدم المساواة بين الجنسين، وتعمق حالة عدم اليقين بشأن المستقبل.
وأشار استطلاع الرأي الذي أجراه صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان إلى أن قرابة واحد من كل خمسة مستجوبين (18%) تعرّض لوضع لم يتمكن فيه من الحصول على خدمات طبية أو صحية متعلقة بتنظيم الأسرة أو الإنجاب، وقد تراوحت هذه النسبة بين 10% في ألمانيا و33% في المغرب، ما يعني، بحسب الصندوق، أن « الأنظمة الصحية في جميع البلدان تحتاج إلى تحسينات لتلبية احتياجات الصحة الإنجابية للسكان ».
