ينضم المهندسون (الاتحاد الوطني للمهندسين المغاربة)، بدورهم إلى الاحتجاجات القطاعية التي تتزايد في البلاد.
بإضراب عام يومي 9 و21 ماي، ووقفتين احتجاجيتين، الأولى في 9 ماي قبالة مقر وزارة الانتقال الرقمي وإصلاح الإدارة، والثانية في 21 ماي قبالة مقر البرلمان، يواصل المهندسون تصعيدا في الشارع « بسبب تماطل الحكومة في التجاوب مع الملف المطلبي للاتحاد، وفي مقدمته إقرار نظام أساسي جديد لهيئة المهندسين المشتركة بين الوزارات ».
وسبق أن خاض المهندسون وقفة احتجاجية يوم 25 أبريل 2024 أمام البرلمان.
واستنكر المهندسون بشدة « تماطل الحكومة في فتح حوار رسمي مع الاتحاد الوطني للمهندسين حول الملف المطلبي قصد إيجاد حلول لمختلف القضايا الهندسية، محملين الحكومة عواقب تماطلها في عدم التجاوب مع الملفات الهندسية المطروحة، وما يمكن أن يترتب عنه من انتكاسة غير مسبوقة للهندسة الوطنية ».
وقرر الاتحاد الوطني للمهندسين المغاربة « الاستمرار في الاحتجاج بسبب غياب الحوار حول ملف المهندسين »، رافضا الإجراءات « الإصلاحية » لأنظمة التقاعد التي يقول « إنها تتراجع عن المكتسبات وتحاول حل أزمة هذه الأنظمة على حساب الأجراء ».
وفي هذا الإطار، يطالب المهندسون « بإصلاحات حقيقية شاملة وبمقاربة تشاركية تبدأ بتسديد الدولة ما تبقى في ذمتها كمستحقات لنظام المعاشات المدنية، بالإضافة إلى تحمل جزء من العجز المالي لهذا النظام من طرف الخزينة العامة، وتحسين المردودية المالية للودائع على غرار النظام الجماعي لمنح رواتب التقاعد، واحترام مبدأ تحمل الأجير » لثلث المساهمات والمشغل للثلثين » بالنسبة لنظام المعاشات المدنية إسوة بباقي الأنظمة الأخرى ».
