وتعاقب على تسجيل أهداف النخبة الوطنية كل من ياسر الزبيري الذي سجل هدفين في الدقيقتين 45+2 و55 ورضا لعلاوي في الدقيقة 79 بينما سجل منتخب كينيا هدفيه عبر لورانس اوما في الدقيقة 16 وحسن بيجا في الدقيقة 71.
وبهذا الفوز يحتل المنتخب الوطني للشبان صدارة المجموعة الثانية برصيد 3 نقط رفقة منتخب نيجيريا الفائز على نظيره التونسي بهدف لصفر.
