أكد السفير الممثل الدائم للمغرب لدى الأمم المتحدة، عمر هلال، أمس الأربعاء بنيويورك، أن دينامية الدعم المتنامي للمبادرة المغربية للحكم الذاتي، تعكس تأييد المجتمع الدولي لرؤية المملكة من أجل مستقبل الصحراء المغربية.
وفي مداخلة أمام اللجنة الرابعة للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، أبرز السيد هلال أن أزيد من مائة دولة عضو، من كافة المناطق، من بينها بلدان عضوان دائمان في مجلس الأمن، و19 دولة من الاتحاد الأوروبي، وكذا منظمات إقليمية، عبرت عن دعمها الثابت للمقترح المغربي باعتباره الأساس الوحيد والأوحد الذي يتسم بالجدية والمصداقية من أجل حل سياسي، مضيفا أن المداخلات المقدمة خلال الأيام الأخيرة أمام هذه اللجنة أثبتت ذلك بجلاء.
وتطرق السيد هلال إلى فتح قنصليات عامة لأزيد من 30 دولة في مدينتي العيون والداخلة، مشيدا بـ”دليل قاطع” على الاعتراف الدولي بالسيادة المغربية على الصحراء.
وأشار إلى أن المبادرة المغربية للحكم الذاتي في إطار السيادة المغربية تعد “الأساس الوحيد والأوحد لتسوية هذا النزاع الإقليمي”، موضحا أنها تضمن تدبير الساكنة المحلية لشؤونها، كما أنها تساهم في إعادة إحياء المغرب العربي على أسس المبادئ الكونية لحسن الجوار والتنمية المستدامة والاستقرار الإقليمي.
وقال السفير إن “لهذه المبادرة الفضل في التطلع إلى مستقبلها في انسجام تام مع ميثاق المستقبل الذي تم اعتماده الشهر الماضي” في نيويورك، مسجلا أن على الجزائر أن تلتقط هذه الرسالة وأن تستوعب، بعد مرور 50 عاما، أن مشروعها الانفصالي في الصحراء فشل بشكل ذريع.
وخلص السيد هلال إلى أن “الصحراء أصبحت مغربية مجددا في عام 1975، كما كانت منذ الأزل”.
