كشفت النتائج العامة لعملية الإحصاء أن عدد السكان القانونيين بالمملكة بلغ في فاتح سبتمبر من السنة الجارية ما مجموعه 36.828.330 نسمة.
وحسب مشروع المرسوم رقم 2.24.1009 بالمصادقة على الأرقام المحدد بها عدد السكان القانونيين بالمملكة، الذي صادق عليه مجلس الحكومة، اليوم الخميس، وقدمه وزير الداخلية عبد الوافي لفتيت، فإن ساكنة المملكة عرفت منذ الإحصاء العام للسكان والسكنى لسنة 2014 زيادة تبلغ 2.980.088 نسمة، أي بنسبة 8.80 %+.
ووفقا لذات المصدر، يتحدد العدد الإجمالي للأسر الذي أسفرت عنه عملية الإحصاء، في 9.275.038 أسرة، مضيفا أن هذا العدد سجل بدوره زيادة مهمة تبلغ 1.961.232 أسرة، أي بنسبة تعادل 26.82%+ ، مقارنة مع عدد الأسر الذي تم حصره سنة 2014.
وبخصوص عدد الأجانب المقيمين بتراب المملكة، فإن عددهم الإجمالي يتحدد في 148.152 نسمة، مسجلا بذلك زيادة تبلغ 61.946 نسمة أي بنسبة تقدر ب 71.86% + مقارنة مع عدد الأجانب المحدد بموجب إحصاء سنة 2014.
وأوضح الوزير المنتدب لدى رئيس الحكومة المكلف بالعلاقات مع البرلمان، الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة، مصطفى بايتاس، خلال لقاء صحفي عقب الاجتماع الأسبوعي للمجلس، أن هذا المشروع يندرج في إطار استكمال المرحلة الأخيرة التي قطعها الاستحقاق الخاص يإنجاز إحصاء السكان والسكنى في المملكة برسم سنة 2024، والمتمثلة في حصر وتحديد النتائج النهائية لعملية الإحصاء المجراة شهر سبتمبر المنصرم برسم الإحصاء السالف الذكر.
وأضاف أن مشروع هذا المرسوم يهدف إلى المصادقة على الأرقام المحدد بها عدد السكان القانونيين للمملكة، وذلك من خلال تحديد عدد السكان على مستوى مجموع التراب الوطني، وكذا على مستوى الجهات والعمالات والأقاليم والجماعات.
